Broadway provided complete turnkey design and installation of the 196,560kw DC solar installation at Boston Logan International Airport’s Terminal B Parking Garage. The projected electricity generation from this system design of 168 kwh/annually represents 5% of the energy usage of the parking facility. Additionally, Broadway installed energy efficient LED lighting throughout garage and hallway areas, expected to reduce electricity usage by nearly 50 percent.

The solar design features and installation included:

1. 32 Structural solar trees with direct mounted photovoltaic (PV) panels
2. (2) Satcon 100kw Inverters, Model PVS-100-4UL
3. Integration of Fat Spaniel data acquisition system. Fat Spaniel provides a comprehensive array of data collection, inverter monitoring, power metering, communications networking and real-time production statistics.
